Connect online and meet offline, that’s the motto of Klup. Klup is about creating meaningful connections and is specifically build for people over fifties. With a unique community approach to social interaction, Klup has revolutionized the way people come together, have fun, and form new friendships.
Who are Klup users?
You are over fifty, have quiet some life experience and looking for new (social) adventures. It could be that a lifechanging event happened, like a divorce or a passing, and you are in for new connections and going out with like-minded people. Our users (kluppers) are openminded, social, engaging and aiming for an active lifestyle and new encounters.

Social mission
Two relatively young entrepreneurs (Michelle & Michiel) started Klup, based on a personal experience (read more). Looking at society, ageing and individualisation there is a great social need for a solution like Klup. Since the launch in 2016, Klup has grown into the largest 50+ community platform in the Netherlands: connecting thousands of kluppers every day through hunderds of activities a week. Our social mission is to:

Our community = Klup
Klup is about meeting new people and doing fun activities together. Our community members are meeting each other online via the Klup app. Within the app kluppers are organising their own activities and you can easily scroll through all activities organised in your area. Kluppers value being part of a strong and engaging community. Actually being a klupper is something our users are proud of. As a klupper you know everyone is in for the same thing and it’s really easy to connect and find companionship.
Klup in the Netherlands
In recent years over 100.000 kluppers registrered on our platform, 250.000 connections were made and kluppers attended over 30.000 activities. These figures are proving that our online solution is a great way to meet new people but actually the impact on personal lives is what we are the most excited about. Really changing lives, several Klup marriages and all the kind words we are receiving on a daily basis. Kluppers are proud to be a klupper and as a team we are extremely proud of our Klup community!💙
